It was supposed to be a celebratory flight over the ocean. The private helicopter slowly rose above the azure water, the sun reflecting off the cockpit glass, and the endless ocean stretched below.
The husband called it a surprise—a “gesture of love,” a last romantic trip before the baby was born. He prepared meticulously. He planned the route. He chose a stretch of ocean cleared of boats. He decided in advance what he would tell the police: “She tripped. She was startled by the noise. She lost her balance. I tried to catch her… but it was too late.”
His billionaire wife sat next to him, wearing a light coat, holding her swollen belly. She smiled and said what a caring husband she had.
The woman had everything: a tech empire, a fortune inherited from her father, influence, a name. The only thing she never gave up to her husband was complete control over her property. All assets, accounts, and property rights remained under her personal protection.
Her husband knew this. And that’s what drove him crazy.
For years, he’d played the role of a caring companion, hoping that all the property would pass to him. And now his wife was pregnant, which meant all the money would go to the child. No, he couldn’t allow that.

Her wife took a step toward the open door. The next moment, her husband suddenly grabbed her hand and pushed her forward. She fell into the water, a scream escaping her lips—but it lasted only a moment.
The husband remained standing by the door. He was breathing heavily, but inside he felt a strange relief. That’s it. Finally. He could already see the headlines, he could already imagine the sympathetic looks, he already knew how he would tell the investigator.
He didn’t even look down.
He didn’t know his wife had survived.

The rescue operation began even before the flight. The woman was gone—for everyone.
